2008 Saint Joseph Hospital Celebrity Golf Outing

Nearly 300 golfers attended the sold-out 24th annual Saint Joseph Hospital Celebrity Invitational on June 26, 2008, at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont.

More than $211,000 was raised - a new record high - and will make a difference in the lives of cardiac patients who suffer from heart rhythm disorders. These funds will help Saint Joseph Hospital purchase new electrophysiology equipment to diagnose and provide treatment to control arrhythmia.

Some of the celebrity golfers included Emery Moorehead (Chicago Bears), Gene Honda (Chicago White Sox Announcer), Ted Hendricks (Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders), Brian Fahey and Brian Sipotz (both Chicago Wolves), and Peggy Kusinski, NBC5 Sports Anchor.

Event Chairs were Jeff Karp of Power Construction and Jackie Loewe of Hitchcock Design Group.

Presenting sponsors were Bear Construction, Jamerson & Bauwens Electrical Contractors, Power Construction, and Resurrection Health Care. Platinum Circle Sponsors were The Haymarket Group and Moveo Integrated Branding.
